The Skoda Enyaq iV 80 FestEVal camper edition has a highly practical yet compact camping setup that is entirely accommodated inside its boot.

With summer in full swing, this is the best time to head out with your family or friends for a small camping trip in the countryside. Skoda, a Czech carmaker and a subsidiary of Volkswagen, is pitching this idea of an already equipped vehicle that comes with everything you would ever need for such an occasion. Say hello to the Skoda Enyaq iV 80 FestEVal one-off edition. Utilizing the expansive space inside the cabin of an Enyaq iV, Skoda has configured an in-built camping setup based entirely inside this vehicle's boot.

The entire setup is quite innovative and comes with a slide-out double bed, an extendable kitchen, and a roof-mounted tent. It can easily accommodate four people in relative comfort and comes with all the basic camping amenities. The best part about this whole setup? The Skoda Enyaq iV 80 FestEVal edition is an overlanding pure electric vehicle!

As mentioned above, the uniqueness of this camping setup inside a Skoda Enyaq lies in the fact that it fits entirely in the boot of this vehicle. To illustrate, it comes with a 'camping box' made by a Czech company EGOE. This box, which has a slide-out mechanism, accommodates a collapsible sink, an integrated gas cooker, a sink with tap and hose, and plenty of storage space. It sits behind the rear passenger seats of this vehicle and can be deployed in a few minutes upon reaching a campsite.

What is even more interesting to note here is that despite housing several camping essentials, this box is compact enough to allow the rear seats of the Enyaq iV to remain fully functional. However, once on the campsite, they would be folded down to become the base of the extendable double bed, which is also a part of this setup. This will provide sleeping accommodation for up to two people inside the vehicle. When on the move, the mattress of this bed can be folded on top of the EGOE box, leaving enough room for small bags on top.

The Skoda Enyaq iV 80 FestEVal also features a roof-mounted tent. This further provides sleeping accommodation for two people. As with all roof-mounted tents, compared to the standard floor tent, they have a setup time that usually falls under a few minutes. Furthermore, Skoda says that the tent model used in this one-off build has plenty of nifty storage spaces inside. In addition to this, it also features some extra camping goodies, such as a solar-powered fan and an integrated torch. Access to this roof-mounted tent is provided through a foldable ladder which can be easily stored inside the tent when on the move.

If all of this was not enough, this camper edition of the Enyaq iV electric SUV also features with a space-saving chair and table combo. What may also come in handy during your camping trip is the 8-speaker sound system of the Enyaq iV 80, along with ambient lighting.

Being an electric vehicle, to some, the Skoda Enyaq iV 80 might not come across as a strong contender for being used as a vehicle to go camping. However, the 82 kWh battery pack of this EV ensures that it has an available driving range of 338 miles between charges. And since this battery pack can be charged up to a speed of 135 kW, allowing it to be juiced up from 0 to 80 percent in just 30 minutes, you won't be spending much time at charging stations on your road trip to the camping grounds. What is further going to help you relieve the range anxiety, and help add some extra juice to the batteries of this Skoda, is its brake energy regeneration system.

While on the road trip, this electric crossover's 13-inch touchscreen infotainment system can be used as the central navigation screen, so you do not get lost on your way to the nearest camping location. Its fully digital instrument cluster will also make long-distance driving a comfortable experience in this EV. The heads-up display with augmented reality can also come in handy during long road trips.

This Enyaq also comes with a permanent internet connection. This means that this electric vehicle has a WiFi connection to which up to eight devices can be connected. Though Skoda has no plans to put the FestEVal camper edition of the Enyaq iV 80 into production, it does give the owners of this electric crossover, as well as us in the United States, enough inspiration to create something that matches the practically of this setup.
